Proofpoint Essentials is an entirely a web-based service and can be accessed via a browser. Follow the below sets to access your Proofpoint Essentials account to manage your mail protection options.

To sign-in to your Proofpoint Essentials account:
- Open a web browser to navigate to https://us5.proofpointessentials.com.
- At the Log in to your account page, enter your email address.
- Proofpoint Essentials will detect your account (where it has been provisioned) and request a method to sign-in. One of several methods of providing credentials may be available to you if Proofpoint has integrated with your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace services. Follow the on-screen prompts to sign-in.
- When signed in your Proofpoint Essentials default landing page will be displayed. This may be different depending on your Role (or permission level) you have within the service.
