Gigaset IP handsets are shipped with a DHCP configuration, which means they will receive an IP address from the network when they are connected.
To be able to make changes or configure one, we need to know the IP address that has been assigned to the base station.
You can get this information from a paired handset by selecting:
Menu→Settings→Base→Local Network→(enter your system pin – default is 0000).
Note down the number listed under IP Address, removing any leading zeros – e.g. if the display reads 192.168.001.086, note down 192.168.1.86.
