If you have access to a Shared Mailbox or a different users mailbox, and have Send As permission, you can send messages from Outlook as the email address of those mailboxes.
To do this:
- Open Outlook, in the Home ribbon click New Email.
- In the new message window, if you do not see a From field, click Options then click From.
- With the From field now available, click it and select Other Email Address... from the drop-down menu.
- In the Send From Other Email Address box, click From...
- In the Global Address List window, find the account that you want to Send As. Select it, then click OK.
- Back in the Send From Other Email Address box, the selected mailbox should appear. Click OK.
- The Outlook window will now display the selected address to send as.
Test an email message from this address to yourself to confirm that messages sends as the address you desire. The mailbox you select requires the Send As permission for your account for this to work correctly.
